In this game of love, he’s the prey.
Captive Weekend, a new novel by DF Blair.
This page is a collection of all my previous posts about the novel. Below you will find links to the earlier promotional material, mock up covers and sample chapters. Yes, some of the material teases a March release date. No, I will not be making that timetable. But the good news is that I will be submitting to to the Kindle store on Friday of this week. To celebrate that milestone, I’ll also be revealing the cover, an original piece of art by legendary fetish artist Sardax, on that same day, Friday 11/21. I’m incredibly excited to share this work with the world, please check back often for updates.
Captive Weekend - Synopsis.
Recovering from the demise of his marriage, committed submissive Gary Severson sets out to rekindle his faith in kink at a BDSM fantasy paintball weekend, where he will be hunted by dominant women. Through his inevitable capture and the recreational bondage, torture and enslavement that follow, Gary learns he may actually have been caught by love.
DF Blair’s debut novel presents a bold new vision of fetish erotica, one that explores far more than just pleasure and pain. Unapologetically kinky, but also densely textured and richly characterized, Captive Weekend aims to reveal that most shunned of modern male archetypes, the masculine submissive. Drawing from a lifetime of experience in the BDSM community, Blair offers a hyper-realistic look into the practice of kink. He invites the reader to experience not just the toys and torments, but the evolving feelings of an almost ordinary guy who boldly explores some very extraordinary pleasures.
